Does the band have much control over where they play? I only ask because of the Harrah's shows. They're scheduled for one in Kansas City and then one the following day in Council Bluffs.

I asked Chris in last month in Lincoln if they were really playing at a casino, and he said ''Yeah. I'm not stoked about it.'' All I can figure is that the timing and price were right, so they went ahead and booked at Harrah's despite the band's -- or at least Chris' -- reluctance.

I'm certainly not complaining, though. While I'd rather see them at more traditional theaters, the chance to catch them twice more on this tour is worth it.

We'll make it worth their while gig-buddy :D

It is kind of odd though - hopefully it won't be as horrific as Thile fears. It can't be if we're there tearing up the front row.

I don't think they have much say in where they play. It's all up to which venue wants to book them and whoever is in charge of said booking.

I'm worried about the Council Bluff's show at Harrah's, as someone I know tells me they refuse to let GA people sit anywhere near the front. The first 8 rows are reserved for the high rollers, who come and go as they please and often don't care about the concert. I'm hoping that's not the case for the Nickel Creek concert, but it's got me worried.

No, those are for the greedy (insert expletive here)s who buy front row tickets and put them on ebay for $200-500 a piece when they normally cost $25. I hate those guys.[nono]
