They don't get commercial radio airplay because no one knows what to do with them. What would you think if suddenly radio played good music like them? You can't have that!!!! You can find them on select AAA stations and other outlets like the World Cafe on public radio and satellite radio. Just don't look for them in the traditional places. I know that they played Florida last year when they toured. I'm sure they will be back soon.

I guess it would be weird to hear them on the radio. Ill just stick to listening to them on my Ipod. The country tv shows will sometimes play their music videos, but not that often.

I heard Jealous of the Moon on a radio station about a week ago. It was one of the happiest days of my month!

Jealous of the Moon was released to radio, but not officially as a single if I remember correctly. Sugar Hill wasn't planning on having them shoot a video for it.

Funny thing, isn't Sugar Hill a rap/hip-hip label? Or am I way off?

No, that's an old label from the 70's/80's. This Sugar Hill is a roots label. No, Rapper's Delight here. :-))

The reason i said that was the owner of Sugar Hill records son was on MTV or something, and he is um......rapping..... so i think just the owner of the label is into the 'rap' scene.
And what u guys are talking about is the Sugar Hill Gang, no connection

I got peas on my head but don't call me a pea head
Bees on my head but don't call me a bee head
Bruce Lee's on my head but don't call me a Lee head
Please excuse me I got to get my tree fed
You wear name brands but I make my own clothing.
I hang out with an apple who loves self-loathing.
“I hate myself.”
Pancake on my face makes me extra happy.
I like shampoo bottles that sit on my lappy
Cause its my show you can't tell me what to do
When life hands me lemon I make beef stew
So, yo I gotta go its time for me to rock it
I put bolony in my left pocket
Smear some cream cheese in my gold locket
Cause its my show I'm NCKitty
It’s my show I’m Shmandy ShmNC-Shmitty.
It’s my show I’m NCkitty.
hee hee sorry.

The reason it came up it was because the Sugarhill Gang was on the old, not related to this company, Sugar Hill Records back in the day.

There is currently no video in the works. I don't think the CD has done as well sales wise to justify the cost of another video. At least that's the impression that I get.

People are stupid. I think they don't sell as many albums because people really think they are a country/bluegrass band. If people gave a listen I think they'd be surprised. All we can do is spread the word out.

Well i have not seen this album publicized in any way. If I had not been a NC fan before it came out I wouldnt have known about it.
Well they did play on Leno and he usually shows the CD, but other than there, nowhere.
