Hello,
My husband and I are die hard Nickel Creek fans and we have lived in the UK for the past year and will be here for five more. Being former Nashvillians, we are used to having more opportunities to see Nickel Creek in concert. We know they are playing at the Cambridge folk festival at the end of July but the tickets are all sold out. Will they be playing anywhere else while in England? Any secret intimate venues that only cool people know about? We saw Chris play at the Station Inn last summer and it was the best show we've ever been to. You guys are awesome. Help please.

Hey there! Welcome to the boards!

The UK definitely doesn't get enough in terms of Creekage but it's a situation that's slowly getting better. Afraid I have some bad news for you though - I was speaking to the band's tour manager Eric last week and he told me that they were only playing Cambridge. Since their hotel and flights are already booked it looks unlikely that the situation will change. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Hopefully they'll be back sooner rather than later however give how successful their last tour here in February was.

Hope that's of some help to you.

With the news of the 'indefinite hiatus' in 2007, is there the slightest chance they might come back to the UK before they go their separate ways? PLEASE!
