How do you get this exclusive telegraph service to write to the forum? Seriously, are you a fan of E. E. Cummings?

I've never been to Cain's Ballroom before. I just bought tickets and it's general admission. How does this work, is it standing room only or are there chairs? Thanks.

I would say its standing. On the post of other peoples pictures there,I only see one with chairs. It was a wedding reception with the rental folding chairs and round tables. I'm still looking at going if able. I would prefer there instead of Austin. Theres a site for directions to it on the Cains Ballroom website if you need it.

I'm so happy! I think my dad is gonna try to take me again this year. Last year's show was awesome! Only this year, I'm gonna do everything possible to get closer to the front so I can see. Oh why did I have to be born vertically challenged???? lol
Oh, and by the way, sorry it's been so long between posts. [bigeyes]

Hello everyone going to the Tulsa show on 9/16/06! I'm flying into to Tulsa from Miami to see the show! I've never been to a show, although I've been a fan for many years. I guess the letter about the planned indefinite break has led me to act on my spontaneous impulses.
It wasn't until after I bought the ticket that I saw it was end of 2007 and not 2006..........whoops! Regardless, its still a good call in my book.
I'm interested to hear from everyone what there is to do in Tulsa. I'm getting in a 2PM the day of the show and planning to stay out as late as possible.......then head back to the airport for a 6AM flight back to Miami!
I'd love to hear from ya'll, so please IM me at any of these:
windows messenger- jtherrell@hotmail.com
AIM- Therrell98
Yahoo- acousticjt
Looking forward to seeing ya'll at the show!
Sincerely,

I saw someone with a setlist, hopefully they can post it sometime. I was trying to just remember the songs they played, but I was having trouble. Off the top of my head, they played

scotch and chocolate
this side
tomorrow is a long time
house of tom bombadil
smoothie song

encore:
bach's partita from fugue in e major?
some tom waits song (don't remember the name)
sean did a solo song, again didn't hear the name
mark did a song from his album.. once again no name (maybe I should pay attention)
again, a wilco song I didn't catch
take me back to tulsa
when you come back down
I'm sure I missed some and I may have added some they didn't actually play.. lol.. feel free to correct me, this was just off the top of my head. Overall that was a fantastic show.

Anyone know the name of the Wilco song they played? I wasn't at the show, but my sister was, and she was really excited to tell me that they played a Wilco tune, because that's my favorite band(Well, other than Radiohead). The only ones I've heard about them playing are I Am Trying To Break Your Heart and Poor Places , but like I said, my sister had no clue if it was one of those. Can't wait to see the Creek here in Athens in a 9 days. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

It was Poor Places.
Chris also played the Gillian Welch cover of Wayside/Back in Time that is on his new solo record.

Sorry folks, but I forgot to mention that the set list I have doesn't have any songs from the 2nd set (formerly known as the encore). I only have one blank to be filled as soon as I hear back from my 'source', and I would like someone else to confirm Wilco's 'Poor Places'.
At both shows I attended last week (Dallas too) only the soundman had every song on paper. I tried to snag his copy but he needed it and gave me the light-tech's instead.

I know you want someone else to confirm, but NC absolutely definitely played Poor Places at Cain's on Saturday night during the second set. I'm a huge Wilco fan (saw them at Cain's too within the last year).

The list in full. I'm open to corrections or questions, for a while at least, so don't hesitate to post or p.m. me (If I don't hear from anyone, I'll just assume everything's accurate.). I intentionally left some of the well known song titles short, and 'Not Sure' is the song's title.
