Does anybody know if NC is going to do an actual this Side tour?? I hope they add some more dates on their tour list b/c I want to see them SoooOOOOoOOOoo Bad!! [bang] :p

They're definitely working on a big tour to promote the album... and I'd guess that, with breaks here and there, they'll probably be on the road quite a bit over the next year or so.

Check out the tour dates section of www.nickelcreek.com which is updated as soon as new dates are added.

i talked to chris a 2 weeks ago- and he said they were going to hit all the big markets on the tour- which means most of the big cities in the states... it is still a little tenative- but will eventually be announced when the details are worked out

Big cities? That stinks, I live in a pretty small town, but we have a college (Appalachian State University, maybe you've heard of it?) and they played here this April. It was incredible and they said that it was the biggest crowd they'd ever had for just them (not a festival or touring with someone else). That's the first time I met Chris. It was an awesome concert, a great first concert. I heard from a student teacher at my school that they actually came to her dorm and sang in the lobby later that night. I hope they loved us enough to come back on the new tour!!

I don't think Chris' comment was meant to imply that the tour would avoid small cities, only that they'd definitely be hitting the large ones.

Booking agents route tours based on what dates are available in what cities at times that make sense with the routing, and if they miss a city on the first go-round, I'm sure they'll try and hit it the second time around.
