I was wondering how one goes about getting a backstage pass. I'm going to see them at the Ryman in August and I figured they may do a meet and greet afterwards. If anyone knows, please post. I wrote their booking agent and publicity person along with Holly Lowman of Sugar Hill. Don't know if this helps.

more than likely you just need to hang out after the show they usually come out and do signings and stuff after the shows!

once i e-mailed their management and asked them that exact question and they replied with backstage passes are not for sale or something along those lines.
In the case of Nickel Creek, a backstage pass would be sort of pointless. Very few artists want to have anyone back stage before the show or at the intermission, because that's when they're focused on their performance, so most backstage passes are after show only.
And Nickel Creek generally comes out to greet their audience after the show anyway, so there's not really any need anyway.

Well I hope that they come out and sign some stuff. None of the 3 shows I've seen have they come out and signed anything. But I'm always optimistic.

I got some emails back today denying my request. One of them said, since this is a Nashville show meet and greet will be very limited. Bummer. Oh well.

i still think that your best bet would be to just wait outside...thats how i met them 3 times, they are normally pretty good at coming out to sign stuff.
