I saw the thread that says that one of Chris's new songs has the F-Word in it. I have no intention of getting into a discussion about it, because frankly I couldn't care less. But I would like to know what song it's in so I don't accidentally play it on the radio. Can someone tell me?
I didn't see a radio-warning sticker on the cover, either, which is always a problem. Any musician who uses certain language in their songs has an obligation to make sure that broadcasters know which tracks are not safe to air.
For example, the new Dave Van Ronk CD has a sticker that says 'Please don't play these two songs on the radio because Dave says F*ck in them.' That's a courtesy that every musician needs to extend to broadcasters.
Under our current administration, the FCC is rather extreme about this stuff. And I really don't want to get fined.
