ALO? One of the few acts on there I've never heard of. Looks like a pretty good collection, I think I'll pick it up. A well-packed disc, that's for sure.

I saw ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra) open for Jack Johnson on his tour in support of his In Between Dreams album. They were really good. Zach Gill, the keys player for ALO plays on more than a few songs on In Between Dreams and is now pretty much part of the band that tours with Jack Johnson. I haven't heard their The Band cover, but I can assume it's done well.

P.S. Matt Costa was also an opener for Jack Johnson on that tour. He was alright... I didn't like him as much as ALO.
