View Full Version : Nickelcreek: What about the Midwest?

There are absolutely no tour dates scheduled for the Midwest. Thats right, no Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska, etc. Nothing even close! I would be willing to travel to any of the surrounding states, but I am just so bummed that I can't see my favorite group before they take a break. (Unless I want to spend tons of money to fly elsewhere...)
Does anyone know if they plan on stopping by the Midwest?
Has anyone heard anything about more tour dates in the fall?
I sure hope so!!!

Kelly, we will get some tour dates either in the summer of the fall or both as they are heading back out twice more. Trust me, I was bummed too when I saw the dates.
Welcome to the board!!!!

Should we be expecting more tours dates to be added for this final-for-now tour? I'm moving from Chicago to southern VA this summer, but will be back in Chicago in the fall. I would love to catch a summer show at a venue around my new home in VA. Otherwise, I was thinking about driving to KY for the Ashland show. What do you think?

If you decide to drive and come to the Ashland show, be sure to call the box office at the Paramount and order your tickets. DO NOT get them from Ticketmaster. It's a little shady, but using Ticketmaster, they seat from the back. First, the $30 tickets were all sold. Now, the $35 tickets are on there. I called the box office and got row K, center floor. Those tickets are $40.

Mike, you should definitely try to make it to that show in Kentucky. It looks like they will be hitting the East coast come fall but that's not for certain. Maybe you will get lucky and they will be there come August.
They are doing a few shows in the Midwest in July and even more come August. They are playing Ravinia in Highland Park, IL on August 10th. I really doubt that they will be back around the Midwest come fall but we shall see.

I saw that, but I'll be in Norfolk, VA until the end of summer so Midwest dates don't help until the fall.

I appreicate the tip too. I want to goto the Ashland show but ticketmaster was saying I was gonna have to sit in row T in the balcony. I'm not sure I could tell Sean from Chris way back there.
I'm hoping they have a show by the bus afterwards. Their show I went to in Sante Fe this year they did not. Of couse, just my luck it was raining after the show. Sante Fe is the desert!!!

3-Fan, call the box office about the Ashland show as Andrea posted earlier that she bought better seats that way.

Well, I took a gamble and lost. Bought the tickets to the Ashland, KY show and now I notice they recently posted some Virginia dates at the beginning of August!
Sooo anyone want 10th row seats to the Ashland show in July?
