I have one question for y'all...
Are the...
Tension Mountain Boys..
the same thing as...

They appear to be one and the same. I believe Chris said that they are growing into the Tensions Mt Boys or something of that nature. The Tensions debut at Carnegie Hall this week performing all 4 movements from Chris' upcoming classically inspired CD due probably early next year.

So are they the same members, but different genre? And please tell us a website that discusses Chris' classical CD! [nod]

Having heard the first movement of ''The Blind Leading the Blind'' that HTGAB has been playing, I wouldn't call it classical music. Maybe some of the other movements are.

BTW - my answer to the poll would be none of the above. Chris and Mike Marshall is my favorite of the side projects.

OK, so Jeff beat me to the link by two minutes. Same members, different genre. I too wouldn't call it classical, but instead classically inspired if that makes sense.

That does make sense.
Does that mean I make musically-inspired noise?

i'd almost have to say mutual admiration society... the album was awful in my opinion but their live concerts that are out on the web are fantastic. although i am gonna have to go with chris and mike.

I got the CD two weeks ago, and it was very different than the live recordings. I got it Amoeba Music in San Francisco for only $5.00! Everyone considered it 'the buy of the day'. It wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, and not as good as the other CDs, but not that horrible.
