I've been wondering what the singles were because Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground has a video, and Brakeman's Blues is mentioned on Wikipedia, but I don't know where the sources are for either of those, or for singles for Deciever/Not All Who Wander Are Lost (if there are any). Please help, if you can.

Always listen,
ThisSide

Forgive me for being obtuse, but what do you mean by singles? I would like to help.

Singles are basically certain songs from the albums that are promoted by the group and the label to try and sell more copies of the albums. Singles are the songs you would probably hear on the radio.

NC's singles would include, but not limited to:

The Lighthouse's Tale
Reason's Why
This Side
Smoothie Song
When in Rome
Jealous of the Moon

Singles usually coincide with music videos. And usually an actual 1-track CD of the single is pressed to hand out to radio stations or other places for promotion.

I was going to say, I don't think Chris' albums (except for How to Grow... ) have received enough of a publicity boost from the record company to promote it. So, I doubt any of his previous albums had any release singles.

I don't think so either.

Ah, thanks. Too bad Chris doesn't have any singles.

It wasn't officially a single, but was released to radio for airplay without a video.

And they performed it on Leno.

Did Jealous have a video?

I don't know of any video for Jealous of the Moon, but I always thought they should make another video since they've only done one from the Why Should the Fire Die? album and Jealous of the Moon would make a good one I think.

Jealous definitely did not have a video. I emailed directly with someone at Sugar Hill and was told that they were only releasing it to radio for airplay without a video.

How lucky you are to be e-mailing the record company folk.

Like Chris said, anyone can email them. I'm part of the Street Team and I sent a note to the head person there. No big deal. I knew she'd know the answer.

Yeah, I really wish they would have done a video for at least one more song from WSTFD, though. Can you imagine how cool a video would be for Helena, Anthony, Best of Luck, or even Jealous? It would have been really cool.
