Hey everybody!!

Im new to this group but not new to NC. :D I heard a song called Starfish. Nickel creek did it live and i was wondering if anyone has heard it and knows where i can get it.(mp3 or cd) I love it, it is my favorite one of them!!! Thanks for your help, and guess Ill be talking with everyone soon.

Unfortunately they don't do it very much anymore. I've got a recording on DAT from a show last year, but no technology to copy to CD or MP3, yet. I agree that Starfish is a cool song, and I wish they would do it more, but then again they have SO MANY good songs, it's hard to know what to ask.

I have to agree with Chris, tho -- it takes a special audience to make Starfish work right, and unfortunately the larger the audience the less likely you'll get that special audience. But who knows....

I love Starfish too! I was at a really really small concert of theirs (only about 20 people there) last year and they did it and it was awesome!! I got the song from audiogalaxy.....and I know we're not supposed to do that but I had dl-ed it b4 i knew about their 'no sharing' policy. Anyway, it doesnt matter now bc audiogalaxy is no longer active. But if you really want the song, Sister Hazel was the band that actually recorded it, so you can find which CD it's on and buy that. I actually have that CD somewhere and I dont remember the name of it, but i do remember that the whole cd is good, so it's worth it! Anway, starfish rocks!
