Hey Rhiannon, I'll be right there next to you on Wednesday night. I've got 5 & 6. :)
I'm in K on Thursday. I, being the idiot that I was when the offer went up, couldn't get my username to work. (Forgot that I had to leave off the underscore on their website.) So, it took me longer than it should have to log on and I ended up in K. (Am I really complaining about K? There's something really really wrong with that...) [bigeyes]
I can't wait to be there. I'll see some of you in Atlanta at the Fox too. (And in Bloomington, Covington, Louisville, and maybe Mansfield.) I figure it's the last chance for a long while, I might as well make the best of it. :)

Thistle, I think an aftershow party would be better on Wed night because many of us will be leaving to head home Friday morning. I can only swing the two days off work.

A Wed shindig sounds good - maybe on Thurs we could all meet up for a drink or such somewhere nearby beforehand and get to know each other a bit so we can put faces to names and still be back home early?
As a side note, is anyone else staying at the Best Western Downtown Convention Centre?

i got section 5 row K for wednesday. i WANTED balcony seats, but it kept giving me lower level. oh well. K should be far enough up that i'm not under the balcony. Thursday sold out quick for me too so i'm going to have to try Saturday. not that it matters, because i'm thinking the AA and BB rows, plus the front of the balcony will be up for grabs.

Ok, so there's been much ado about The Fox Theatre show being their largest crowd yet. But from what I've been reading, Ryman can seat more people. If they sell out, will the final shows be the largest audiences ever?

I believe the seating capacity per show is 2200 people. At least that's the number that I was told when tickets went on sale. So it won't be anywhere near the Fox crowd. I've been in there before and that number sounds right. It's definitely not a huge theater.

They ryman website seating chart lists 1298 seats for the main floor and 1064 for the Balcony. (total - 2362). This is right about half the size of the Fox which seats 4,678.

Still seats available for Thursday at the Ryman ( I assume for Wednesday too). It's hard to figure out Ticketmaster. For awhile there were no seats available. One day I looked and they only had obstructed view seats. Now there are regular seats that are better than what you could get a couple of weeks ago.

Right then guys - the gig is drawing ever nearer and I'm appointing myself to the Party Planning Committee. Quite a few people have said they'd like to meet up whilst in Nashville and I'm certainly very much in favour of such an endeavour. I'll throw out an idea and it can be debated.
Basically, instead of us all trying to find our way to a place many of us might not know, how about we all meet at the Ryman prior to the gig on the Wednesday (and similarly on the Thursday if so desired). It'd be a good chance for those who are Will Call to pick up their tickets and chances are we'll have all worked out where it is. Now I don't know N-ville at all but maybe someone could suggest somewhere nearby we could all go for a bite to eat or a couple of drinks before we head back to the venue?
Thoughts, ideas, objections?

I'm flying tomorrow morning so won't be able to check this website from tonight until I get back on Sunday so hopefully plans won't change - if they do I won't know about it!
Doors are at 7:30, right? Shall those who wish to partake in this social extravaganza meet outside the main doors at the front of the Ryman at, say, 5:30? Will that leave us enough time to get a meal somewhere?
Anyone want to take sticky labels we can use as nametags? I should be easy enough to recognise - 5'5'', brunette, green coat, raucous laugh, Scottish accent, really freaking excited.
Come on guys - everyone seemed really enthusiastic about this idea initially and it could be a great start to the evening!

that's weird. Chris said at the concert in LA that the LA show was the last official show of that tour. The next couple of shows in Nashville were extra, he said, like an afterparty. Not that it matters, i guess, just wondering why there's a discrepancy.
