I've been trying to see if anyone can help me out with the lyrics to the chorus of Great Illusion. I've figured out most of it but some of the beginning I can't get:
Seven wonders (? ? ?)
Knowing six are gone
And how the great illusion lingers on
There's some phrase right after seven wonders that I can't make out. It sounds like cold the lamb, quoth the lamb, but I think I'm probably way off. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Molly

Best as I can tell its:
Seven wonders 'fro the land
Knowing six are gone
And how the great illusion lingers on

This isn't exactly helpful, but to anyone not familiar with it, you should definitely check out http://www.kissthisguy.com the archive of misheard lyrics.
The site got it's name from the commonly misheard Jimi Hendrix lyric 'scuse me while I kiss this guy which is actually 'scuse me while I kiss the sky

I am changing my guess to
O'er the land

Yes, o'er the land seems to make a lot more since. Thanks for the suggestion.
What about the second verse:
He can't ???? the sun or moon
The wind within his hand
To count the times he shouts the great I Am.
What do you think that word is? Sounds like inform to me but that just doesn't sound quite right.

:) Cool. Thanks for finding that out for me. I love that song, but I always want to sing it the right way. Can't wait til new CD comes out since it will probably be on there and of course, then I'll be able to check the lyrics in the liner notes. Anyhow, thanks.

I think I've got the lyrics down. But, has anyone written out the chord progression? My favorite part of the song is the harmony at the end.
