Stats from opening week on the new cd- Very Cool

first week sales figures and rankings! Pretty
amazing: the album is listed at #2 on the Top Country Album chart, #18 on
the Top 200 Chart (that's all styles). Not only is this really neat for
the band, but also it's Sugar Hill's best first week and highest debut ever.

One other piece of info Matt didn't mention (I don't think we knew until a couple days ago):

50,000 CDs sold the first week, 60% more than the record company was optimistically hoping to sell!! And about 5 times more than the best ever week for the last album.

Things are definitely going to be jumping for the band in the next year!!
