Its Just nto fair i tell you!! I have been a nickle creek fan for a long time. I buy their records in canada at an extravagant price (because it is a small band to canada they consider it an import) and they dont tour up here. No where even close to the boarder. Its frustrating you know? You guys are so lucky to have seen them.

You might need to come down to the Buffalo area, which isn't too far from Guelph (yes, I know where Guelph, ON is!). As Nickel Creek grows they will tour more. It took a while before they finally made it to New England a couple years ago.

Well, as long as we are talking about jealousy, I am jealous of everyone who gets CMT these days, because MY stupid cable company doesn't carry it! [bang]

But as frustrated as I am, I'll admit that missing all the CMT stuff is not as bad as never getting to see them in concert. :( Even though the only time I have seen them in person so far was a short opening set for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones rather than a full scale concert (plus I didn't know they were going to come out and meet people during the intermission because I am STUPID, so I totally missed THAT opportunity), I am very grateful that I got to experience at least that much. And I have reason to hope for more opportunities in the future, which is something else to be grateful for. But in the meantime, it would sure be nice if some TV station/show/network besides CMT would have them on and/or show their videos!

I'm guessing that you won't have to go without NC for much longer. They've got a deal with Warner Bros. for worldwide distribution, and I would be thunderstruck if they don't start hitting at least the larger Canadian cities within the next year or so. (No real facts or anything anyone has told me, just my conjecture.)
