I'm not a fan, but I think I could be if I gave his music a try. I like what songs I have heard of his and thought about buying one of his CD's but haven't actually done it, yet.

In case you were wondering, I did post here for a reason, even though I'm not a fan. Could you tell me a little about his music? Other than his radio singles, I don't know much about it. It seems like he has sort of a retro style going on.

I was listening to his version of lady in red about ten minutes ago! whooooooooo! shame is, you can't see an advert break without hearing wicked game so it gets a little old....but a cool vid though ;) .

Didn't he used to be a boxer? that's what I heard...

About his music? I'd say easy listening (which is basically anything that ain't rap or metal) but with a bit of soul...for me, it's kinda late night music...and you might say that he does quite a lot of make out songs. But then you might not.

Put it this way...two of his main influences are Elvis and Roy Orbisson. He does old school rock & ballads. His voice is Wilson-esk. Doesn't do harmony, though. Doesn't need it, either. He's in my top 3 of male vocalists.

I actually got the chance to meet him once in San Francisco while i was going to college. I walked into a record store (actual RECORD store) and there he was (actually looking at an old Roy Orbison album). At first i didn't think it was him....it must of been hilarious to see me do my double take[eek!!] I casually sauntered over to the isle next to him to get a closer look and he looked around and caught me staring at him. I must of turned every shade of red possible and he started to laugh. My GOD is he gorgeous. I think he ranks a close 2nd in my hottie contest behind Sean :D ( the contest in my mind that is...although i wouldn't mind one in real life [evil eye]) Ahem....i digress.....

I tried to think of something to say and the first thing that came out was i loved you on 'Friends'![bang] What the heck was my brain trying to do to me?! He laughed again and said better looking cast than Seinfeld. We both laughed and I told him that i loved his music and he shook my hand and said thanks...i felt like marcia brady after she got kissed on the cheek by dezi arnaz jr ( god bless you if you get the reference) and i never wanted to wash my hand but after awhile i thought *ewww* and proceeded to the sink. Well that was my big brush with Chris Issak....just made me love him even more :)
