Nickel Creek in So Cal!

Oh, I'm so excited. NC is coming to Southern California! I am a relatively new fan (since I stumbled across their CD in May of this year) and have not yet had the opportunity to see them live. For those of you who have had that opportunity, how are their concerts? Do they come out and meet the audience? Do they do music from their old CD as well as their new one? I would love to hear from some of you experts out there.

Well, NC is actually FROM SoCal. I think most of they're US shows are on that side of the Rockies.

I've seen them 4 times in la and only once did they not come out...well sean kinda came out after the HOB-anaheim show but he was looking for someone and went backstage. As soon as you see them LIVE you'll be hooked 4-ever.....the intensity and passion is so apparent when you see them singing and playing. and if you get to meet them youll just be blown over by how cool and goofy they really are....just like us...except they are uber-talented and remarkably down to earth. Im seeing them @ the HOB and i think im gonna sell tshirts in san deigo...CAN'T WAIT!!! [party]

BTW, when I said kinda, but not really, what I meant was...

No, they do not come out and meet the audience...per say (is that used correctly?). However, after the audience has left, they do come out and meet the harcore 'Creek Freaks that have stood around for 1/2 an hour waiting for them after the show. At least that was MY experience. They could do things completely different at other times and places.
